From there, care is structured in stages—correcting imbalances, stabilizing results, and maintaining hair health as it grows.
Treatments are part of the process.
They are never the starting point.

MAVA was created by Johan Roa — a New York hairstylist and cosmetic formulator — out of frustration with an industry built on promises instead of responsibility.
After years of seeing hair compromised by aggressive treatments and vague guarantees, MAVA was designed to do the opposite:
to slow the process, educate clients, and prioritize hair health first.
Every decision inside the MAVA system is guided by one question:
Will this still serve the client’s hair a year from now?
